A colourful and memorable Inter-college Youth Festival was organised by our college on 20 July 2026 in the college auditorium. The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Dr. Anil Deshmukh, a well-known educationist. Students and teachers warmly welcomed all the guests.
More than fifteen colleges participated in the festival. Competitions such as singing, debate, dance, art, rangoli and poster making were held throughout the day. Every participant performed with confidence and great enthusiasm. The audience enjoyed each event and encouraged all the participants.
Our college won the overall championship, while many students received prizes in different competitions. The Chief Guest praised the students for their talent, discipline and team spirit. His inspiring speech motivated everyone to work hard and follow their dreams.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the Cultural Committee. The festival was a grand success and gave students an excellent opportunity to show their talent, learn new skills and build friendship with students from other colleges.

A useful and informative lecture on "Self Defence and Safety" was organised by XYZ Junior College on 15th August 2026 in the college auditorium. The programme was arranged to create awareness among students about personal safety and self-confidence. Students and teachers attended the session with great interest.
The expert speaker, Ms. Sneha Patil, a certified self-defence trainer, explained various safety measures and demonstrated simple techniques to protect oneself during emergencies. She also shared practical tips on cyber safety, travelling safely and seeking help in difficult situations. Students actively participated in the demonstrations and asked many questions.
The programme was highly successful and appreciated by everyone. It increased students' confidence and encouraged them to remain alert, responsible and fearless in everyday life. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the college principal.

Teachers' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at XYZ Junior College on 5th September 2026 in the college auditorium. The programme was organised to honour the valuable contribution of teachers to society. The Principal, teachers and students participated enthusiastically in the celebration.
The programme began with a prayer followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Students welcomed the teachers with flowers and presented cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, speeches and a short skit expressing gratitude towards their teachers. The Principal appreciated the dedication and hard work of all the teachers and encouraged students to respect their mentors.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of appreciation cards prepared by the students and a vote of thanks. The event created a joyful atmosphere and strengthened the bond between teachers and students. Everyone left the programme with happy memories and renewed respect for the teaching profession.

On the occasion of World Reading Day, the students of XYZ Junior College visited the City Library on 23rd April 2027. The visit was organised to develop reading habits and encourage students to make better use of library resources. Teachers accompanied the students throughout the visit.
The librarian welcomed everyone warmly and introduced the different sections of the library, including books on literature, science, history, biographies and reference materials. Students also learned about the digital library, membership facilities and book borrowing system. Many students explored interesting books and actively participated in the interactive session conducted by the librarian.
The visit was highly informative and enjoyable. It inspired students to read regularly, improve their knowledge and develop a lifelong love for books. The programme ended with a vote of thanks and happy memories for all.
